HISTORY
§2008,
A group of
young people from
Paxtocá
came together to
enforce actions that protect the environment, a
group called JPJ
-Jóvenes para Jóvenes (Youth for Youth)-.The name implied that the group was
exclusive only to
youth, therefore a decision was made to
change the group’s name to
SDS -Sistema de Desarrollo Sostenible- (System for Sustainable Development)
§2009.
In aliance with the Coop Xeixtamayac, Xeiprojuve
–Xeixtamayac Programa Juvenil de Desarrollo Sostenible (Xeixtamayac Youth Program for Sustainable Development)- was established
§On April
22, 2013 Asociación de
Desarrollo Integral Xeiprojuve
(Integral Development Association Xeiprojuve) was founded
VISION
To be an
organization that contributes to the
general wellbeing of the
human person for
the construction of sustainable communities in Western Guatemala
MISSION
We are an organization that looks for
and promotes the
general
wellbeing of
our Associates through generating employment, regenerating the environment, innovating education,
and contributing to
the physical
and mental wellbeing of
the
human person using the perspective of
Mayan culture.
VALUES
FAITH: We believe in
a superior being that is observant of
our actions
and thoughts.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Carry out functions with integrity, punctuality, efficiency,
and of high quality.

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES
§Develop an investigation center for
the knowledge and application of the
essence of Mayan Culture.
§Develop and apply a model for
production, transformation, commercialization, collection, and sustainability.
§Develop and apply a model for
environmental regeneration, promoting the
use of local resources, for
community development.
§Fund an education center for
the generation and application of knowledge based on
Mayan Culture and the
global sphere.
